Promote Malaysia on a Shoestring Budget (prizes to be finalized)

Any individual or company who can demonstrate via a complete business plan how to effectively promote Malaysia on a shoestring budget. Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts on the viability and effectiveness of the plan. The proposed prizes are as follows:-

  • First Prize : An Industrial/Office/Shopping Lot
  • Second Prize : House
  • Third Prize : Mini Van

An Original and Unforgetable Journey in Malaysia (prizes to be finalized)
Contestants are asked to play tour guides for other travelers. Pick a theme you are most interested in and develop an actual, original and indepth itinery. Test it out yourself and keep a complete travel log, pictures and the do's and don'ts. Submit the record of this journey and tell us why it is interesting.

Tips--if you are interested in food, embark on a culinary adventure of Malaysia. If you are a nature lover, show us what has this country got to offer? If you are a shopper/collector, how and where one can get rare and authentic interesting wares?

The winnners will be determined by a panel of judges. The proposed prizes are as follows:-

  • First Prize : Condominium
  • Second Prize : Kembara Car
  • Third Prize : Internet-ready, multi-media notebook
Most Impactful and Creative Message for "Think Holiday, Think Malaysia"
Hint: Message must be practical and can be trnsmitted to a mass audience using minimal technical capabilities... don't ask us what this means, just use your imagination.

Submission of entry to Pahlawan Contest Committee. Short-listed entries will be hosted on the VMC website and top 3 winners to be decided by two week poll by the public.

Three Prizes for A trip for two each, prizes include car and petrol & insurance, flight, train journey and a hotel accommodation).

Top 3 entries win a trip for two to one of the following:

  • 3D/2N Cruise/Fly : Cruise from Port Klang to Langkawi Island and fly home.
  • 3D/2N Fly/Drive : Fly to Alor Star, drive on the East-West highway and from Kota Baru fly home.
  • 3D/2N Rail/Drive : Take train to Johor Baru, drive along Eastern Seaboard and drive home.
