Let the Chinese Malaysians decide. Conducted over the Internet, this will be the first-ever DIRECT ELECTION by the people for the people, to name the person they want as President of Hua Zong to represent the Chinese Community.

华 总 的 代 表 性 与 表 现 掀 起 了 激 烈 的 论。 华 总 现 任 会 长 张 征 雄 与 华 总 在 立 百 病 毒 与 大 选 诉 求 等 华 社 关 心 的 课 题 上 的 表 现, 引 起 了 极 大 的 争 议。 这 个 星 期 天，华 总 属 下 各 州 大 会 堂 的130 名 代 表 将 投 票 选 出 新 任 会 长。 既 然 华 总 宣 称 它 代 表 马 来 西 亚 华 社， 我 们 就 请 老 板 们 裁 决。 或 许 老 板 们 的 反 应 将 能 帮 助 华 总 认 清 本 身 的 定 位， 也 能 帮 助 华 社 更 认 识 自 己。

There has been intense debate on the legitimacy of Hua Zong, the Federation of Chinese Associations in Malaysia and its leadership. There has been much controversy surrounding the Presidency of incumbent President Dato' Chong Chin Shoong and Hua Zong's leadership in a number of issues affecting the Chinese community, including the recent Nipah Crisis and the Election Appeals. This coming Sunday, the delegates to Hua Zong will vote to elect their new president for the next term. Since Hua Zong is claiming that it represents the voice of the Chinese Community in Malaysia, we are taking this issue to the bosses. Perhaps the response from the bosses will throw some light on the role of Hua Zong, and help the Chinese Community learn more about themselves.

Three votes are proposed:

Vote One: to indicate the bosses' perception of the role of Hua Zong.
Vote Two: to assess whether Hua Zong has fulfilled its role.
Vote Three: to select your candidate as the next Hua Zong President.
